Let's talk geography here;
An NIC takes an LEDC away from it's ally LEDCs promising to help it flourish and make it an NIC, like itself. The NIC uses the LEDC for it's resources, exploits it and BAM, it's been colonized by it. Guess who it comes running back to? It's former allies who were always there for them.
Relatable?
Everyone's playing the divide|rule|conquer game out here. It's the new concept of becoming 'popular.' Why is it human mentality that we want the new shiny thing, even if you don't need it, maybe you don't even want it, but we all have to have it. There are going to be tonnes of people promising things, glory, that will perhaps never become true; I get it, I'm a teen too, it's tempting, but we shouldn't let go or forget the boring old friends who've ALWAYS been there for us either. It's easier said than done, but hey, who said life's gotta be easy?
